Rivermen keeping things tight in the Coastal Conference

Although the Rivermen are in last place, with a Victoria loss tonight and a Langley win tomorrow, the Rivermen can move into a tie for a playoff spot. The Rivermen are coming off back to back wins and will look for a third straight victory tomorrow night against Alberni Valley. Jim Kruger was a main reason for the teams success last weekend and will look to keep his hot streak going against the ‘Dogs assuming he gets the start. The team is getting set for another three game week, but will not be as tough on the body as the team plays tomorrow at home VS. Alberni Valley, Friday is an off day, and then they host Nanaimo Saturday night, and finish off in Victoria on Sunday afternoon.  Should be interesting how the standings read on Sunday night….A preview of tomorrows game will be posted tomorrow afternoon.
