BCHL This Week

TEAM Radio is partnering with the BCHL again for the 2013-14 season to bring great coverage and content to listeners around the province.

A major change for this season is the introduction of SUBWAY® “BCHL This Week”, a weekly program that will air on TEAM 1410 AM on Saturdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

The show will be hosted by veteran hockey play-by-play man and longtime radio host Jeff Paterson. Every week, Paterson will catch up with BCHL players and coaches and also feature BCHL alums making headlines at the NHL and college level.

“We are thrilled with this new addition to our partnership with TEAM Radio,” said BCHL communications director Brent Mutis. “The support of SUBWAY® restaurants of B.C. has been key for us in building our brand and adding their name to this show allows us to feature content from across the league and get some of the famous names that have passed through our league on the air.

“Jeff’s career covering hockey and his relationship with the BCHL means we’ll be getting great guests every week that listeners will want to tune in and hear.”

Also, don’t be surprised to catch your favourite BCHL team’s broadcaster on the show. The league’s play-by-play voices will contributing all season long and will ensure a variety of informative content.

As in past seasons, feature interviews will continue on TEAM 1040 with hosts Matt Sekeres and Blake Price welcoming guests every Tuesday during the mid-day show.

TEAM Radio will again be carrying BCHL Scholarship updates all season. These 30-second spots are voiced by the league’s broacasters and keep listeners up to date on the latest school commitments from around the BCHL.

The first edition of SUBWAY® “BCHL This Week” with Jeff Paterson airs Saturday, Sept. 14 on TEAM 1410.
